Sleep is a crucial element to health and wellness and in today’s world of busy schedules, school workloads and glowing screens, often sleep is something that is ignored.

With the high costs of education, the Mattress Research Scholarship aims towards the goal of helping individuals offset some of the costs of their studies and provide more awareness around the power of sleep.

Each student who is awarded the Mattress Research Scholarship will be given $1,500 toward their university or college fees. The scholarship is awarded one time every year.

The scholarship is open to all students in North America, UK & EU who meet the eligibility criteria

The Power of Sleep

• Current high school seniors attending school in the United States, Canada, UK
• Anticipating completion of high school diploma at time of application or already in possession of high school diploma / GED
• Planning to or already currently pursuing a degree at an accredited U.S. Canadian, UK, EU post-secondary institution
• Carrying a minimum 3.00 GPA or equivalent grade average

**If you cannot find the Mattress Research scholarship listed on your university’s or college’s website, please ask the financial aid office to list our scholarship.**

No, it’s a single semester scholarship. New scholarships are available each year. Past winners cannot apply again.

One scholarship is available worth $1500 USD.

Yes. Canadian scholarships can be awarded as well and are worth $2000 CAD.

Winners are chosen by the Mattress Research`s sole discretion.

Winners will be chosen November 15th of every year. If the winner doesn’t respond within 3 days, we will choose another applicant. Winners will be notified via the email provided.

Scholarship winners will need to verify that they meet the eligibility requirements.

The funds may be use for tuition at an accredited university or used to cover other educational expenses at an accredited university.

• This needs to be between 750 and 1500 words in length
• It needs to contain personal information such as full name

• Any document such as a student ID which can prove that you are a student
